Forms for the approval of OECD propagation in non-OECD countries

Electronic transmission of OECD forms to the Federal Plant Variety Office

The Federal Plant Variety Office accepts applications for OECD propagation within the framework of OECD seed schemes in non-OECD countries in electronic form.

In order to use the forms, applicants require a plant breeder identification number and a password. Applicants that are already known to the Federal Plant Variety Office from the plant breeders’ rights and national listing application processes, and already have a plant breeder identification number and password, can use these forms.

Companies who wish to obtain OECD propagation approval for the first time will be assigned a plant breeder identification number and password after submitting an informal request to the Federal Plant Variety Office using the contact form.

The forms should be completed in Adobe Reader and transmitted electronically to the Federal Plant Variety Office. No signature is necessary if you are transmitting the form electronically. (Notes on data security)

If you require more information in order to use the application forms, please contact Ms Diekmann (kerstin.diekmann@  bundessortenamt.  de, phone: 0511-9566-5649). The technical prerequisites for using the electronic application forms can be found here.
