Electronic applications for plant breeders´ rights and national listing
The Federal Plant Variety Office accepts electronic applications for plant breeders’ rights and national listing.
In order to use the forms, you will require your plant breeder identification number (published in the Official Gazette) and password (provided when you downloaded the yearly report). The forms can be completed using Adobe Reader, saved and printed out. In addition, the forms can be signed electronically and returned to the Federal Plant Variety Office. (Notes on data security)
Alternatively, the forms can also be completed and then printed out and signed by hand before being returned to the Federal Plant Variety Office.
