Your visit to the Federal Plant Variety Office

You are welcome to visit us in Hannover, or at one of our testing stations, as part of a visitor group to find out more about our work. Visits can take place during our normal working hours - working days between 9 am and 3 pm. We would be pleased to help you learn about our work and discuss specialist topics with you.

Please provide details of the time, approximate number of visitors and, if applicable, any particular focus areas of your visit.

Note:

On June 27, 2026, we will once again be holding an open day at our location in Hanover. We look forward to giving you a detailed insight into our work on this day.

In 2026, we will therefore only be able to welcome visitor groups to a very limited extent and in individual cases (e.g., groups with a professional or official background by prior arrangement).
