Trends and yield losses due to diseases in winter wheat were evaluated and published by Dr. Laidig (former employee of the Bundessortenamt) together with other colleagues.
The results were published in March 2021 in the journal Theoretical and Applied Genetics (Springer Verlag) under the title "Breeding progress of disease resistance and impact of disease severity under natural infections in winter wheat variety trials".
